We've had quite a number of demonstrations in support of R-1 zoning in front of the Ponte Vista site on Western during weekday morning commute times. We even had Elvis (aka Joe Trani) to help stir up support. The King was definitely on the case.

On Saturday July 14th we held a demonstration, this time with a difference. We asked people to stop and sign the petition and they did! We had a number of youths show up as well and pitch in. Check the slide show below.

On Saturday October 20th, we had our latest demonstration just to remind people that the issue of Ponte Vista has not gone away and that we still need to pay attention to  keep this nightmare of a project from becoming a horrific reality.
